One dish that reminds me of South Tyrol is Kaiserschmarrn.
I love how it is served in the typical iron pans on mountain pastures. They tell stories of the simple times when people on an alpine pasture fed on what nature had to offer.
Kaiserschmarrn is not only delicious, but also symbolises the community and tradition that are so important to me. I made it myself and sprinkled it with icing sugar to make it even sweeter.
